Hit launches development slate

Kids producer and rights holder Hit Entertainment has launched a new development slate with projects from the creators of Lunar Jim and Waybuloo.

The producer is launching Mike the Knight, a 52x10mins animated series from Lunar Jim creator Alexander Bar. The show follows a 10 year old who protects his world from dragons to impress his mum.

It is also developing 52x10mins The Real Mess in association with UK indie Absolutely Cuckoo. The preschool series, which was created by Waybuloo creator Dan Good, teaches children under six to believe in themselves through quirky characters.

Its third and final project is Kids Hate Clowns, a 2D animated series coproduced with Firestep and Impossible Pictures. The 52x13mins series follows thirteen year old Chloe who has her street cred ruined when her three relatives, who happen to be clowns, turn up to live with her.
