MTV sells South Park to TV2 and cuts CEE deals

MTV has shopped its South Park animated series to TV2 in Norway and has concluded a raft of program sales in Eastern Europe.

TV2 has acquired every season of South Park and the series will launch later this year.

Separately, MTV’s program sales arm has sealed several deals in Albania where Digitlab has acquired The Hills and the latest instalment of the Laguna Beach franchise The City and Top Channel has bought three seasons of animated reality show Drawn Together.

In Serbia and Montenegro the B92 free-to-air channel has licensed hit kids series SpongBob Squarepants as well as South Park.
