MySpace UK and FremantleMedia are launching an online web series, Freak.
The News Corp-owned social network MySpace is teaming with RTL-owned producer and distributor FremantleMedia and the plan is to roll the series out globally after its UK launch this summer.
The scripted series, which was developed by FremantleMedia’s new media division FMX, will run over thirteen weeks with two episodes airing week. There will be additional content made available between episodes and numerous interactive elements, FremantleMedia said.
The main sponsors of the series are Red Bull and Procter & Gamble.
