Cartoon Network and RTP buy Matt’s Monsters

Turner’s Cartoon Network Asia has picked up Alphanim’s animated 52x13mins series Matt’s Monsters. The Alphanim-Rai-Lanterna coproduction has also been bought by free-to-air broadcasters RTP in Portugal and Noga in Israel.

The Flash-animated, Alphanim-distributed series has already been shopped to M6 in France, RTBF in Belgium and Jetix in Holland.

A comedy series created by Robotboy creator Jan Van Rijsselberge, the series targets a 6-to-10-year-old demo. It follows 8-year-old Matt Average who spends his spare time hunting weird and wonderful creatures for the Monster Agency.
