Nat Geo goes Inside Guantanamo

National Geographic Film and Television is bring a new, one-off film about the Guantanamo Bay detention center to MIP TV.

The show, Inside Guantanamo, heads the factual distributor’s MIP slate. It was produced by Nat Geo Television, which claims that US authorities granted it unprecedented levels of access for the film, which it describes as “part verité, part ground-breaking historical documentary.”

Other new Nat Geo-produced, NGTI-distributed, titles for MIP include one-offs Herod’s lost Tomb and Secret’s of Shangri-La, which was made by NGT for France 5 and PBS in the US.

NGTI’s third-party product includes BBC Motion Gallery’s Animals are Amazing and The Ocean’s Supermum – A Sea Lion’s Odyssey from Australian producer Content Mint.
