Former Epic boss Walks inks Endemol deal

Former Epic Records boss Charlie Walk has inked a deal with Endemol USA that will see the music industry man produce a number of scripted and unscripted programs.

Charlie Walk Entertainment Media (CWE Media) is already in development with one series, reality series Nail’d, with Endemol-owned production company Original Media.

Endemol USA chairman David Goldberg said: "Every once in a while you meet someone who you believe possesses something very special. I’m convinced Charlie is one of those people and that he’ll bring a unique and creative perspective to Endemol."

Walk left Sony Music imprint Epic Records, where he looked after artists including Ozzy Osbourne and Jennifer Lopez, towards the end of 2008.

CWE Media will have offices based in New York and Los Angeles.
