Turner Lat Am acquires Cock’d Gunns

Turner Latin America has acquired Tricon Films & Television’s Canadian rockumentary series Cock’d Gunns.

The Latin America pay TV operator will launch the 13x30mins series on its entertainment channel ISAT from June 2009.

The semi-scripted show follows the Cock’d Gunns, the worst band you’ve never heard of, lead by the Van Gunn brothers.

The This Is Spinal Tap-meets-The Office series airs on the Independent Film Channel (IFC) in Canada and has recently been awarded a Canadian Comedy Award and a Gemini Award.
