BBCWW launches US Hispanic CBeebies

BBC Worldwide is set to launch a Spanish-language version of preschool channel CBeebies in the United States, marking the first time it has entered the US-Hispanic market.

The commercial arm of the British public broadcaster has struck a carriage deal with pay TV operator Dish Network.

This follows the launch of the kids channel in Mexico in August. The channel will air live action series such as In The Night Garden and animated fare including Tommy Zoom.
