RHI wraps Meteor, inks deals

RHI Entertainment has just wrapped production on its latest four part mini series Meteor and has closed deals with a raft of international broadcasters.

The producer and distributor has sold the 4x1hour action thriller to Spain’s Antena 3, Germany’s Telemunchen and Italy’s Mediaset.

The show, which is coproduced with Larry Levinson Productions, follows a heroic doctor, played by Back to the Future’s Christopher Lloyd, who tried to stop a giant meteor from destroying the earth. It also stars Seinfeld‘s Jason Alexander.

RHI Entertainment, which went public earlier this year, is lining up a number of other projects including sci fi series Dragons of the Roc, which also stars Christopher Lloyd and Tara Reid-fronted feature Vipers, which follows a group of genetically enhanced snakes.
