Family Channel commissions Connor

Canadian broadcaster The Family Channel has commissioned local indie Heroic Films to produce a 13x30mins tween comedy series – Connor Undercover.

The live action series follows 15-year old Connor – played by Max Morrow – as he mixes ordinary teenage life with being an international spy. This is further complicated when a feisty female teenager Gisela Calicos (Lola Tash) turns up.

The show, which will debut on the Astral Media-owned channel in 2010, is a co-production with Shaftesbury Films, which will also distribute the series internationally.

Heroic Films has a number of other projects in development and has recently been commissioned by YTV to make How To Be Indie.
