Distraction picks up new OJ Simpson doc

Distributor Distraction has picked up the rights to a new one-hour documentary about OJ Simpson, which has exclusive interviews and footage of the troubled star.

Marquez Productions’ Monster or Myth was originally set to be a retrospective telling of the story around the original 1995 OJ Simpson trial.

The making of that documentary was interrupted by the star’s 2007 arrest for armed robbery but the star allowed director Jay Gira to continue with filming and interviews, providing a unique insight into that event.

Distraction says the film is available for immediate release and selected broadcasters will be showing it from today.
