ShineReveille picks up Solitary

ShineReveille International, the recently merged distribution company, has taken international rights to Fox Reality’s psychological reality format Solitary.

The show, which has just been commissioned for a third season by the News Corp-owned cable network, will be available as both finished episodes and as a format.

Solitary is a gameshow that sees contestants kept in solitary confinement in order to win a $50,000 cash prize. Nine participants are subjected to a range of gruelling physical and psychological tests and the last man standing wins the ‘social experiment’.

The show was created by World Series of Blackjack exec producer Andrew Golder and Lincolm Hiatt, producer of Unan1mous.

ShineReveille International is the recently formed distribution company, created following the acquisition of worldwide producer and distributor Reveille by the Elizabeth Murdoch-run Shine Group. It sells a number of scripted and unscripted formats such as gameshow The Moment of Truth, reality series Date My Mom and HBO’s animated series The Life and Times of Tim.
