Electric Sky sells Five’s twins

UK factual distributor Electric Sky has closed a number of international sales for 1hour doc The Most Extraordinary Twins In The World after beating off RDF for the distribution rights to the film.

It has pre-sold the show, which was commissioned by Five (UK), to Nine (Australia), Kanal 5 (Sweden), SBS (Denmark), TV Norge (Norway), VTM (Belgium) and Sky Network (New Zealand).

The show is the first to come out of an arrangement with UK indie Somethin’ Else, which is better known for its music productions and radio shows.

David Pounds, chief executive of Electric Sky, told TBIvision: "We knocked RDF out of the water on that one."

Electric Sky is also selling for the first time a range of documentaries based on the Royal Opera House following previous agreements to sell the live footage.
