Electric Sky charges to Mip

UK distributor Electric Sky has closed a number of major deals for its factual slate ahead of next month’s Mip TV.

Australian free-to-air broadcaster Ten Network has picked up 1x1hour storm doc Twisted Chasers, produced by Indigo Films, and Context TV’s 20x30mins animal series Wildlife Nannies.

Spanish commercial broadcaster TV Catalunya has bought 17 hours of documentaries including Christian Darkin Productions’ Shark Story and Electric Lodge’s Transforming Energy.

French thematic channel Planete France and Middle Eastern broadcaster MLI have picked up Jumping Dog’s The Cars That Ate China.

Meanwhile, Electric Sky Productions’ own 10x26mins series Concrete Canvas and 6x45mins Make Your Child Brilliant have both been acquired by Sky Arts (UK) and XYZ Networks (Australia) respectively.
