Ratings Watch: Big ratings for Half Ton Mum

Half Ton Mum, Eyeworks one-off documentary on Renee Williams, the 29-year-old mother of two, who at 450 kilos is fattest woman in the world, has been a big ratings hit.

On Channel 4 in the UK the show was on January 2, from 9pm to 10pm. The show achieved a very good 17.4% audience share in the 4+ demographic, above its time slot average and second overall (source: Channel 4 / BARB).

In 2007, Channel 4 averaged a 8.6% audience share in the 4+.

The documentary aired in Sweden on Kanal 5 on January 23, starting at 8pm. It averaged a 17.7% audience share in the 3+ (source: Kanal 5 / MMS).
