RATINGS Focus: The Truth wins out

The first episode of The Moment of Truth, local adaptation of the Reveille International format Nothing but the Truth, aired in the US on FOX, January 23 from 8pm to 9pm.

The show, which has already aired in Colombia and in the United Kingdom, achieved a good 20% audience share in households and a 24% share in the 18-to-49-year-old demographic, leading its time slot in both targets.

On Wednesday, January 30, the second episode achieved a 16% audience share in households and a 20% share in the 18-to-49s. On Wednesday, February 6, the third episode achieved a 15% audience share in households and an 18% audience share in the 18-to-49s (source: FOX / Nielsen Media Research).

Season-to-date, FOX averaged a 10% audience share in households and a 11% share in the 18-49.

The first episode of the German adaptation of the format, Die Wahrheit und nichts als die Wahrheit, bowed on RTL2, Monday, January 28 from 10.15pm to 11.15pm.

It achieved a 7.3% audience share in the 3+ and an 11.9% audience share in the 14-to-49s, finishing fifth in its time slot. The February 11 episode was down to a 4.2% share in the 3+ and a 6.8% share in the 14-49 (source: RTL2 / AGF / GfK FernsehForschung).

In 2007, RTL2 averaged a 3.9% audience share in the 3+ and a 6.3% share in the 14-49.

Telecinco in Spain, Nine in Australia and Kanal 5 in Sweden are developing local adaptations of the format.
