SPTI sells karaoke

Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) has sold music variety format Karaoke Showdown to Vietnam’s VTV3 and Indonesia’s Trans TV. VTV3 has also acquired 52 episodes of Wheel 2000 and Trans TV has picked up an additional 39 episodes of The Gong Show.

SPTI has stepped up its Asian formats business after acquiring the international rights to 12 Yard Productions’ formats.
