ABC Australia invests in new docs

Australian public broadcaster ABC is investing part of its new A$20 million (US$17m) programming fund in two factual series – The Choir of Hard Knocks and South Side Story.

The Choir of Hard Knocks, from Fremantle Australia, is a 5x1hr series following a group of homeless men starting a choir. There is also 6x30mins South Side Story from Beyond Productions.
