Kids-logo-460_2Nathalie PinguetFrench kids TV distributor Superights has hired Nathalie Pinguet to become deputy general manager following the exit of Morgan Favennec last month.

The role effectively makes Pinguet head of sales and acquisitions at the Paris-based business.

Pinguet is best known as deputy director of youth programming and deputy head of programming for TF1 Group’s kids division.

At Superights, she will lead sales and acquisitions strategy across platforms, as oversee marketing and communications.

In effect, she is replacing former deputy managing director Favennec, who begins a new role as Xilam Animation’s executive VP of development and global sales next week.

Pinguet began her career at advertising agency Carat before joining Leo Media and then moving to French broadcaster TF1.

“I’ve been a longtime fan of Superights’ first class catalogue and its dynamic team,” she said. |I am very proud to join the company and to dedicate my energy to our clients: TV channels, digital platforms and, of course, the producers who put their trust in us.”

Paris-based Superights sells animated series such as Puffin Rock, for which Netflix has taken global rights, Pat the Dog, Boyster and Helen’s Little School.
