Pasa MustafaSebastian Burkhardt’s Keshet Digital has hired execs in London and LA.

The digital arm of Keshet International (KI) has brought on digital content veteran Pasa Mustafa in London as creative director, and Heather Brewster in LA as VP of development.

Both will report to Burkhardt, KI’s senior VP, digital and acquisitions.

Burkhardt leads digital content initiatives and the newly formed Keshet Digital Studios, which aims to produce digital and millennial-focused content.

Mustafa was head of global head of digital originals at Endemol (now Endemol Shine Group), and has more recently a digital creative consultant for KI.

He worked on digital-first and mobile shows such as Samsung-funded music show Beat for social platform Bebo, dystopian sci-fi drama Kirill for MSN and Xbox, and a reality show called Gap Year that was funded by 14 brands.

Brewster was most recently VP, digital originals at Smokebomb and its parent, Shaftesbury Entertainment.

She was a founding content exec at multichannel network Fullscreen’s SVOD service, where she oversaw development of series such as Legendary Digital-produced Electra Woman and Dyna Girl and the platform’s first feature film, #O2LForever.

She also worked at Dolphin Entertainment, where she produced two seasons of Family Channel’s What’s Up, Warthogs!.

“We have been pursuing a wide range of digital-focused initiatives across our business,” said Burkhardt. “Developing best-in-class original programming for cord-cutting millennial audiences is an integral part of this plan.

“With seasoned and respected digital development executives like Pasa and Heather bringing us a wealth of experience and credentials in the digital programming space, we are on track to deliver a phenomenal slate of engaging, boundary-pushing creative alongside a broad range of partners, both in the US and internationally.”
