Sky Vision hires for US, Asia

UK distributor Sky Vision has created new roles in the US and Asia, bringing in execs from PBS and ITN.

Gillian Rose becomes senior VP, sales and acquisitions, for the US. She joins from PBS Distribution where she was managing director.

She will be based in New York and report to Sky Vision MD Jane Millichip. She will be at MIPCOM next month in her new role.

Coming to Sky Vision from ITN, Caroline Clarke will be a senior sales manager, based in Singapore.

The sales arm of the Sky platform also said it is recruiting for a new director of drama and comedy to replace Kylie Munnich, who recently left for a new role at Sonar Entertainment.

Transferring from the main Sky operation, Colin Burgess also joins Sky Vision as director of operations.

Sky launched Sky Vision in 2012 after buying Parthenon Entertainment and rebranding it.
