Kiefer Sutherland to speak at MIPCOM

Kiefer Sutherland will give a keynote address at MIPCOM next month.

The actor will be in Cannes to promote Designated Survivor, his new Entertainment One-distributed series, which started on ABC this week, and was picked up by Netflix internationally this week, as first reported by TBIvision.

24 star Sutherland will deliver a Media Mastermind keynote on the Monday of the market.

The film and TV star will give his take on the new show and the wider business.

In conspiracy drama Designated Survivor he plays an little-known government official who becomes president of the US after the political establishment is wiped out in a State of the Union terror attack.

The show is produced by the eOne-backed Mark Gordon Company.

Other confirmed Media Mastermind keynotes for MIPCOM include A+E’s Sean Cohan, YouTube’s Susanne Daniels and US network TV showrunner Adi Hasak.
