House Productions staffs up

House ProductionsFledgling UK producer House Productions has added three execs to its ranks.

It has hired Tom Leggett, Polly Buckle and Ann Phillip, who have all joined the new prodco’s development team

House is the new London-based producer set up by Former Channel 4 drama chief Tessa Ross and ex-Working Title Television UK boss Juliette Howell.

It is backed by BBC Worldwide and Access Industries, the TV and movie business that recently brought in former BBC director of television Danny Cohen.

Tom Leggett joins House from Playground Television, the producer run by Colin Callender. His exit from Playground follows that of Louise Pedersen, who left to rejoin All3Media. Leggett’s credits include movies The Riot Club and 12 Years a Slave.

Polly Buckle (above centre) produced You, Me and the Apocalypse for Sky One and Rev for BBC2, and has worked in script development for Working Title Television and Shine Drama.

Ann Philips joins House from See-Saw Films, and has previously been in the Film4 development team.

Joint CEO of House Productions, Juliette Howell, said: “Tom, Polly and Ann share an appetite with us for bold and original storytelling and their combined knowledge, taste and talent relationships are a great fit for House.”
