Walking Dead on-demand for Sky Germany

Scripted-logo-460_2The Walking DeadSky’s German operation has extended its programming deal with the channels arm of Fox, and will show the much anticipated seventh season of The Walking Dead within 24 hours of its US transmission on AMC.

The pay TV operator will also add all previous seasons of the zombie series to its Sky Box Sets on-demand line-up.

The renewed and extended agreement between the Fox Networks Group, the channels arm of the Hollywood studio, and the pay TV operator will see linear channels Fox, National Geographic and Nat Geo Wild carried on the Sky platform, and a raft of content added to Sky’s various OTT and on-demand offerings Sky On Demand, Sky Go and Sky Ticket Now.

Other new shows going out on Sky within hours of their US TX will include the upcoming superhero series Legion. The Fox-Sky deal also means Nat Geo’s Ron Howard and Brian Grazer series Mars, and the second series of eco-doc Years of Living Dangerously will be available to Sky subs.
