Channel 5 adds another Absolutely Cuckoo show

The UK’s Channel 5 has commissioned another show from indie Absolutely Cuckoo, this time in the shape of Dave’s Dinosaurs.

This follows on from the order of Wissper, and is again for Channel 5’s preschool Milkshake strand.

52x7mins Dave’s animated CGI series Dinosaurs is aimed at 4-6s and follows about  a young boy who becomes an adopted father to six baby dinosaurs.

Absolutely Cuckoo, best know for CBeebies Waybuloo, is attached to produce.

Jessica Symons, head of children’s at Channel 5, said: “Absolutely Cuckoo is an innovative animation company, that is creating exciting new content for children and I’m delighted to be working with them again on this new show. Dave’s Dinosaurs is a fresh and original take on subject matter close to children’s hearts and the show is bound to delight our young Milkshake audience.”
