CBBC welcomes Odd Squad

UK kids broadcaster CBBC has acquired Sinking Ship Entertainment’s daytime live-action series Odd Squad and will launch it this month.

The 40x22mins series will debut on June 22 on the digital BBC channel.

Odd Squad follows two young agents working for a government division run by kids equipped advanced but unpredictable gadgetry.

Canada’s Sinking Ship coproduces the show with The Fred Rogers Company for PBS Kids in the US and TVO in Canada. ABC3 in Australia, SVT in Sweden and NRK Super are among previous buyers.
