News brief: French Turner channel gets Ace

Boing, one of Turner Broadcasting’s French kids channels, has acquired 9 Story Media Group toon Get Ace.

9 Story coproduces the Network Ten series with Australia’s Galaxy Pop, with a second season recently greenlit.

ABC in Australia, TVNZ in New Zealand, TVE in Spain, E-Junior in UAE and Zoom in Israel have previous buyers of the show, which follows the advanetures of the hapless Ace McDougal, who is thrown into the world of espionage after mistakenly being fitted with hi-tech spy braces.
