Spain’s Visiona takes DRG formats

Spanish producer Visiona TV has licensed two entertainment formats from UK-based distributor DRG.

The prodco has taken Spanish rights to Sleeping with the Stars and Divide and Conquer.

Sleeping with the Stars was created by Strix, which like DRG is part of the Modern Times Group. The half-hour celebrity sleepover format follows well-known faces around the clock, tracking their every move.

It has proved popular in Scandinavia, airing for six seasons on TV4. It ran for two seasons on TV2 and three seasons on MTV3.

Divide and Conquer was created by Irish prodco Wild Rover. DRG has already shopped it to Tv Em in Turkey.

In the quiz format, contestants sort lists into correct yes and no categories – for example answering whether a selection of cities are their country’s capitals.

The Spanish options mark Visiona’s move into primetime entertainment.
