ITVS America secures IAM development deal

ITV Studios America has tied up a first-look development deal with Intellectual Artist Management, a talent and literary agency that represents upcoming Amazon procedural drama Bosch.

Tony SabistinaITVS America and IAM has jointly Tony Sabistina as development executive to oversee a slate of projects resulting from the pact alongside ITVS exec Brian Segna.

The deal will cover scripted and unscripted television series. ITVS America president Orly Adelson described it as “another terrific step forward” for the company’s slates.

IAM bills itself as a “full-service talent and literary management media and production company” with one of the world’s largest libraries of IP.

IAM titles currently doing the rounds in the TV industry include Bosch and Red Arrow International’s 100 Code, and it also packaged series such as Boardwalk Empire and True Blood.

“IAM is in expansion mode acquiring a ton of companies, properties, and clients,” said IAM co-owner and partner Patrick Hughes. “ITV Studios compliments our growth and we look forward to producing amazing content together.”

Earlier this year, ITVS America scored a similar development deal with UK-based children’s TV producer Komixx Entertainment, which has a joint venture with another major literary rights owner, Random House.
