Shine America promotes production chief

Shine America has promoted unscripted TV veteran Linda Giambrone to the role of executive VP and head of production.

Giambrone was previously senior VP and production head but has been upped after doing “a phenomenal job over the last two years overseeing all production aspects of our unscripted programming slate,” according to Shine America’s president Eden Gaha.

In the new role, she will continue to oversee production of shows such as MasterChef, The Biggest Loser and The Face.

Giambrone has been with Shine since 2011 and works out the Shine Group-owned company’s LA office. Her previous roles include senior VP, BBC Worldwide Productions, where she helped launch Dancing with the Stars to US audiences.
