News brief: BBC Two commissions auction charity series

UK public broadcaster BBC Two has commissioned a three-part factual series in which a leading antiques expert will attempt to raise money for struggling charities.

Auction Hero will see Andrew Lamberty (Four Rooms) traveling the UK and internationally attempting to use his skills in trading antiques to raise money for small charity groups.

UK-based Silver River is producing the 3x60mins series, which will go out on BBC Two on consecutive evenings from May 13. Dan Goldsack and Daisy Goodwin executive produce.
