Asian distributor Bomanbridge brings Angel’s Gate to Europe

Angel’s Gate

Singapore-based distributor Bomanbridge has sold its multimedia format Angel’s Gate into Europe and will launch it internationally at MIPCOM

The format, which was originally transmitted on Channel NewsAsia, sees entrepreneurs pitch to investors.

Bomanbridge has sold the format to Finland’s Intervisio, which says it hopes to put it into production next year, although no local broadcaster or platform has been announced.

Bomanbridge describes Angel’s Gate as a 360-degree, multimedia programme, which gives entrepreneurs the opportunity of a lifetime to pitch their dream business ideas to successful investors.

Antti Seppänen, CEO of Intervisio, said: “In these economically hard times, entrepreneurship is dire to breaking through the gloom and doom of this terrible global recession. Amazingly, AG manages to capture that spirit in an entertaining way which will bring positive feelings and strong start up motivation to the larger public.”

Bomanbridge Media will be shopping the format to broadcasters and producers at MIPCOM where it will be part of the MDA-backed Singapore Pavilion.
