Power back with new programming slate following administration

International television movie and miniseries producer Power has launched its first programming slate since reemerging from administration.

As first reported in TBIvision, the company has hired former Sony executive Danny Goldman to run the company.

The company, which is now owned by South African company Sabido Investments, is launching series including Ethan Hawke-fronted Moby Dick at MIP TV.

It inked a deal with RHI last week that will see it distribute Neverland and Treasure Island across Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America and it is coproducing three Alistair Maclean television movies.

The company also has rights to GK-tv’s series Camelot in Asia and is distributing a documentary on the life of Nelson Mandela and lifestyle series Slice of Life.
