Cesar Diaz’s 7A to distribute VIP 2000’s drama

Scripted-logo-460_2Cesar Diaz7A Media, the distributor set up by Cisneros veteran Cesar Diaz, has inked a deal with Roxana Rotundo’s VIP 2000 TV.

US-based 7A will sell VIP 2000’s scripted series under the terms of the deal.

The content company franchises out production work, and has used this new production model to make 45-part drama Escandalos (Scandals), which 7A will take to market.

It will also distribute new VIP 2000 comedy series Tomame O Dejame (Take Me or Leave Me), about two sex experts who fall in love.

Other upcoming projects for 2016 include faith-based drama Proof of Faith, in which experts from the Catholic church work to verify alleged miracles.

Rotundo said: “Cesar is a well-known professional in our industry and that was a very important quality for us in having him handle sales. Our industry is growing in complexity and its an advantage to work with business colleagues and friends whom you can trust and rely on.”

Diaz added: “Everyone in the Spanish speaking industry recognises the work and labor that VIP 2000 TV has shown for so many years. Throughout the industry’s up and downs Roxana has been a dedicated professional and has constantly managed to excel.”
