Audience Network’s programming head exits

Mr.-MercedesThe Audience Network’s programming head Chris Long has left the company after near two decades.

Long said he is leaving the AT&T-owned US channel to “pass the baton after pioneering one the most unique TV networks on the landscape today and move on to a new challenge”.

“For the past 18 years I’ve felt an extraordinary degree of good fortune and pride in building the Audience Network into what is has become today – a creative, quality haven for talent on both sides of the camera, And I’ve been blessed to have worked alongside a team that is second to none,” he said.

Long has had experience programming comedy, drama and unscripted for Audience Network, which was originally launched by DirecTV prior to its merger with AT&T.

His move arrives as AT&T looks to complete its acquisition of Time Warner.

Mr.Mercedes (pictured), Kingdom, You Me Her, Religion of Sports and Loudmouth were among the series that Long developed during his time at Audience Network.
