Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP)’s chief in Spain & Portugal, Sebastián Moguilevsky, is stepping down after almost seven years in the role.

The Iberian production entity confirmed the news in a statement, adding that Moguilevsky would be returning to his home country of Argentina “for personal reasons”, with a replacement being sought.

“Sebastián is helping us in this process and will also help with the transition process in the New Year, together with our current management team in Spain,” said the WBITVP statement.

Warner Bros. Discovery has been rejigging its senior staff in Spain of late, with its VP & commissioning editor of original content Miguel Salvat departing amid a rejig of the company’s operations.

He will step down ahead of the launch of Max in the country next year, with WBD now seeking a single exec to oversee scripted and unscripted originals in Spain and Italy.

There have also been recent hires, with WBITVP Spain naming Mediaset España alum Alberto Carullo as head of drama at the start of the year. He had reported into Moguilevsky and oversees content development & production in Spain and Latin America.
