Marvista bringing CBS series to market

The-Inspectors_Terry-Serpico-and-Jessica-LundyMarvista Entertainment has sealed a deal with Litton Entertainment and will launch its upcoming CBS drama The Inspectors at the market.

The 22x30mins series launches on CBS on October 3, just ahead of MIPCOM, and follows a crime solving mother and son.

The teenage son is a genius who was paralysed in a car accident and he works alongside his mum in the US Postal Inspection Service, the oldest federal law enforcement agency in the US, tackling internet scams, identity and mail theft, and consumer fraud.

The producers worked with the United States Postal Inspection Service on the show, which afforded them behind the scenes access. Cases in the show are inspired by real-life events.

On CBS it will go out in The CBS Dream Team… It’s Epic block, which is programmed by Litton

Marvista boss Fernando Szew said: “For some time, we have perceived unsatisfied demand in the global market for programming that can be co-viewed and enjoyed by parents and kids alike, and when we first learned about The Inspectors, we jumped on the opportunity to get involved. We are very confident that The Inspectors will perform very well with our traditional and digital international partners.”

“We are pleased to partner with MarVista Entertainment in bringing these stories to audiences around the world to continue to fulfill our mission to shine a light on inspiring stories that can be viewed by the entire family,” added Litton CEO Dave Morgan.
