Endor working up a trio of Neil Gaiman projects

UK production company Endor is working on a handful of projects with cult author Neil Gaiman.

The company has previously alluded to the fact it is developing projects with the cult writer and graphic novels author and screenwriter.

Company founder Hilary Bevan Jones told TBI that Endor and Gaiman are focused on three particular projects, two are based on existing, unspecified, Gaiman books and the third is an original idea from the cult writer.

Any could end up making it to TV although the challenge is working around Gaiman’s schedule Bevan Jones added. Her company’s other upcoming work includes Nine Lives, a feature film from UK comedian and actor Lenny Henry it is making with the BFI.

Red Arrow acquired a majority stake in Endor last March and would likely distribute any Gaiman series internationally.

It is currently launching Endor’s The Escape Artist, the upcoming legal and crime thriller starring David Tennant (Broadchurch) and written by David Wolstencroft (Spooks). The three-part series will debut in a 9pm slot on BBC One next Tuesday (October 29).
