Boy Kills World prodco Nthibah Pictures has partnered with South African video game design studio, Talent Digital Art, on a new TV animation.

Talent Digital Art has greenlit development on the as-yet untitled series, which was created by Nthibah’s chairman Wayne Fitzjohn and has Mario Carvalhal (The Search For Wondla) attached as writer.

The show delves into the universe of Super Dragon Punch Force 3, the combat video game featured in the dystopian martial arts action film, Boy Kills World, which is produced by Nthibah Pictures in partnership with Sam Raimi of Raimi Productions and Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment.

The game has been developed by Talent Digital Art and will launch day and date with the global release of Boy Kills World.

Both Nthibah Pictures and Talent Digital Art are subsidiaries of the Talent10 Holdings Investment Group.

Fitzjohn said: “There’s no question Mario’s exceptional writing talents will breathe life into this wildly imaginative series and we can’t wait for cameras to roll on this exciting project.”

Nthibah Pictures produced and financed Boy Kills World, which has been directed by Moritz Mohr and debuts 26 April in cinemas.
