CITV buys Deadtime Stories

The kids arm of UK broadcaster ITV has acquired 10x30mins live-action series Deadtime Stories.

The tween-skewed show features a babysitter who tells spooky stories to the kids she is looking after. Based on the Annette and Gina Cascone sisters book series of the same name, it launched on Nickelodeon in the US earlier this month.

Jamila Metran, head of programming for CITV says, “The spooky live action series has proved to be internationally popular and we believe CITV is the perfect UK home for the programme.”

The series is distributed by Canada-based DHX Media.
