Spanish free-to-air broadcaster Antena3 is set to produce a local version of British reality series Famous, Rich and Homeless after striking a deal with BBC Worldwide.

The commercial network is set to launch their own version of the Love Productions format next year using some of Spain's best known celebrities.

The format follows five celebrities as they navigate the dangers of being homeless, having been stripped of all of their money and possessions and must live on the streets for 10 nights.

Dutch broadcaster KRO has also picked up the format and is working with Sky High TV, while Irish production company Kite Entertainment has also optioned the format.
