Turner LatAm & Mediapro enter 5-year copro deal

Turner Latin America and multimedia content company MediaPro have signed a coproduction agreement to develop and produce cross-platform content.

Javier_Mendez_Zori (1)The two companies will promise an overall investment of US$10 million. They will develop cross-platform content in Latin America and include occasional collaborations with Chilevisión in Chile.

Kicking off the deal, the companies will produce content for Chilevisión, a free-to-air TV channel owned by Turner.

Tomás Yankelevich, executive vice president and chief content officer of general entertainment for Turner said: “It is an honour to have the opportunity to join forces with MediaPro in Latin America.

“We really admire their work, they have been undisputed leaders for years and we trust that their contribution will be fundamental to consolidate and secure Turner’s new strategy of becoming a multi-screen content powerhouse, always available to fans, not only to supply our brands in the region but for the entire TV market”.
