Ex-Viacom, Small World exec joins Twofour

Marta CsizmadiaFormer Viacom and Small World IFT sales exec Marta Csizmadia has joined ITV-owned distributor Twofour Rights.

She has joined as sales executive as Twofour Rights expands and rejigs its sales team after leaving London-based distributor Small World earlier this year.

Other changes see Nicky Shales joining as format support executive, former deputy head of sales Holly Hodges promoted to head of sales operations and VP of sales for North America, UK and Ireland, and Australia and New Zealand, and Eniela Bella upped from senior sales exec to VP of sales for EMEA and Latin America.

Csizmadia’s new role will see her selling Twofour Group formats and finished tape to broadcasters in German-speaking Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey and Greece.

Besides Kew Media Group-backed Small World, she has worked in sales for Viacom International Media Networks, Modern Times Group, the latter’s Central European prodco, Paprika Latino, and Zodiak Rights (now Banijay Rights).

Grandpas Over Flower producer Small World, meanwhile, has hired Rosemund Perdue as a consultant.

Back at Twofour, Shales will work with the sales team to offer support for local format remakes, providing information for local broadcasters and producers.

Hodges and Bella, meanwhile, both have extensive experience in sales, and will now taken on expanded posts that cover format and finished tape sales.

The changes come as Twofour Rights prepares to ‘time travel’ format Change Your Tune at MIPCOM. The format follows on from others in the ‘time travel’ genre, including the widely distributed This Time Next Year and business-themed Give it a Year.

“The increasing catalogue of formats means it’s the perfect time to expand the team with a combination of promoting from within and bringing in fresh talent,” said Twofour COO Anthony Hughes.

Twofour is part of UK broadcaster ITV, which has a separate distribution arm, ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
