Scripted-logo-460_2Instinct-pilot110001-_1063b_FavoriteFox Networks Group Europe has acquired scripted programming including a pair of new season CBS dramas and crime series from Newen Group.

One deal with CBS Studios International hands Fox Networks Group Iberia exclusive basic pay TV rights in Spain to elite soldier drama SEAL Team and Alan Cumming procedural Instinct.

SEAL Team and Instinct perfectly represent our commitment to bring to our audiences and affiliates high quality premium content based on powerful storytelling and impressive performances,” said Daniel Pérez, general manager of FNG Spain.

The deal also includes CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS: Los Angeles, with FNG Iberia already holding the local licence for Bull and McGyver.

Fox Germany yesterday bought another CBS drama, The Good Fight, which spun out of network series The Good Wife.

A separate agreement with France’s Newen Distribution sees FNG’s Russian feeds take five seasons of police drama Candice Renoir.

The 48x52mins series has debuted in a variety of CIS territories on the Fox Life channel, marking the first time the network has played a French show.

“We truly believe the story, charm, romance and humor will engage the audience and they will enjoy even more watching Fox Life,” said Olga Zhurova, head of channels and Russian feeds for FNG.
