Noah KornUS prodco Hit+Run has promoted Noah Korn to lead its development team.

Korn will continue to report to Hit+Run founder and executive producer Rob Shaftel in his new role as VP of development.

The new post will see Korn working alongside Shaftel to develop narrative-first series and original formats for the broadcast, cable and digital spaces.

Shaftel launched his company in April last year, bringing his fellow ITV Studios America exec Korn with him.

“Noah joined Hit+Run at its inception in 2016, and within the first year we sold four series,” said Shaftel. “He has a keen eye for identifying talent, strong relationships within the community and has been integral in creating the visual style of the brand.”

Hit+Run’s current slate includes Animal Planet’s I Was Prey, Red Bull TV’s Way Past Midnight and American Down Low for Complex Networks and Rated Red. Korn will now oversee this as part of his duties.

The company also put in place a coproduction deal with Bee Media, the US-based prodco of ex-Red Bull Media House exec Brian Lavin.
