Kids-logo-460_2Caroline BrinFrench production firm Superprod has hired a former Télé Images and Cyber Group Studios sales executive Carole Brin.

The kids- and family-focused company has named her in the newly created role of chief digital officer.

Brin is best known as VP of sales, acquisitions and new media for Superprod compatriot Cyber Group, a role she held between 2008 and 2015. She also held roles at EM.TV, Carrère Group and Télé Images.

This means she will develop Superprod’s digital strategy and its TV and feature film productions in Europe and further afield.

Superprod’s digital activities include developing and producing content based on in-house and third party brands and intellectual property.

“The arrival of Carole is a major step in the expansion of Superprod,” said company co-founders Clément Calvet and Jérémie Fajner in a statement.

“Carole’s knowledge of kids and family content, which is a significant part of Superprod’s activity for TV and cinema, as well as her proven expertise in digital media and the revolution they created both for the viewers and producers of content, are key assets in an ever changing and competitive environment.”

Current Superprod toons include Helen’s Little School for France Télévisions, and Lassie for TF1, ZDF and Teletoon+.

The news comes after the deputy managing director of Superprod sales arm Superights, Morgann Favennec, exited for Xilam Animation.

Superights then brought in Natalie Pinguet as Favennec’s replacement.
