GoldBee seals ZDF sales ahead of ATF

Kids-logo-460_2JoNaLuDistributor Gold Bee has shopped over 200 hours of kids content into Asia ahead of the ATF market later this week.

Gold Bee, run by former Imira exec Christophe Goldberger, reps ZDF Enterprises’ kids content in Asia.

It has sold Mako Mermaids and H20 – Just Add Water to GMA in the Philippines and Dance Academy and live-action shows Sam Fox – Extreme Adventures and Wolf Blood to local distributor VietContent in Vietnam.

In Thailand MCOT has picked up Mako Mermaids and ThaiPBS Coconut, the Little Dragon.

In China JY Entertainment took mainland digital rights to Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs and preschool show JoNaLu (pictured).

Gold Bee will be at ATF this week repping the ZDFE shows, among others in its catalogue. New ZDFE shows include H2O – Mermaid Adventures, the H20 – Just Add Water spin-off.

Peter Lang, vice president ZDFE.junior said: “With more than 3,500 commercial hours, we are currently looking to expand and reinforce our presence in the region through partnerships with local and pan-Asian broadcast and digital platforms, and are actively looking for partners in the licensing and merchandising area for our mermaid brands.”
