9 Story sells 800 eps into Asia

9 Story has inked a raft of Asian deals, shopping over 800 episodes of kids programming into the region.

The Toronto-headquartered producer and distributor has sold PBS’ animated series Nature Cat to Discovery India.

Other deals include a package to Mediacorp with titles such as Peg + Cat, Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood and Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare.

In Thailand, True Visions has bought  – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare, as well as Nature Cat.

In Hong Kong, free TV broadcaster took Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare and Wild Kratts.

The sales come ahead of the ATF market in Singapore, which kicks off later this week.

9 Story is in expansion mode after getting a capital injection, and has upped its sales and acquisitions effort in Europe, with Alix Wiseman at the helm.
