Corus’ distribution arm makes lifestyle sales

Formats-logo-460_2Corus Entertainment has shopped a raft of lifestyle programming to international channels.

Home-flipping series Masters of Flip has been acquired by several channels including Discovery’s TLC in Poland and DLife in the MENA region. A+E’s Lifetime has taken it in the UK for the Lifetime cable net.

Nine in Australia and Scripps in the US have also bought the show from the distribution arm of Canadian media giant Corus.

TLC in Poland and DLife in MENA have also both acquired the 26x30mins season one of luxury homes series Buying the View.

Other deals include Cheer Squad, about a group of elite cheerleaders who support one another through good times and bad times, which has been bought by Australian pay TV firm Foxtel for its LifeStyle You channel.

“Our offering of premium, unscripted content continues to resonate with buyers worldwide, cementing our presence as a strong player in global content distribution,” said John MacDonald, senior VP, women and lifestyle content, Corus.
