DR docs and copros chief exiting

Mette Hoffman Meyer, DR’s docs and copros, is leaving the Danish public broadcaster.

She will exit at the start of next month having been in the position since 2007.

She is a well-known figure in international TV and a regular attendee at the big doc and programming markets and counts award winning one-off The Democrats among her programming credits.

Hoffman Meyer joined DR from commercial rival TV2 and is now expected to focus on writing and The Why Foundation, the non-profit journalism group she created.
